Meet the Foundation's Ambassadors:

 

 2010 Scholarship Recipients

Kathryn A. Berry
Kokomo, IN

Kathryn's father, Jeffery W. Berry, was killed on September 15, 2008 when he was struck by a semi-trailer in a work zone accident.  Kathryn attends Ivy Tech Community College in Kokomo, Ind. and is studying business and graphic design.




Mitchell B. Dunn
Stone Mountain, GA

Mollie K. Dunn
Stone Mountain, GA

Mitchell and Mollie Dunn’s father was killed while working to repave a road in Jupiter, Fla. in June 2009 when a driver swerved off the road. Mollie attends the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Ala. and is majoring in public relations and in Spanish. Mitchell will attend the College of Charleston, Charleston, S.C. in the fall, where he plans to study history and political science.

Daniel J. Frank
Sterling, CO

Daniel’s dad, Thomas, an employee of the Colorado Department of Transportation, was killed June 1996 while picking up debris along the highway. Daniel will be a freshman this fall at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo. and will major in engineering.



Nahun A. Morales
Springfield, VA

Nahun’s father, Nahun Levia, an employee of F.A. & F.C. Wagman, Inc., was injured and permanently disabled while working on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project in Alexandria, VA. Nahun attends Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale, VA. where he is pursuing a degree in business administration.



Kelsey M. Williams

Kelsey and Krystal’s dad, Samuel Williams, Jr., an employee of the Washington Department of Transportation, was killed February 2000 in a work zone accident when a distracted driver entered the work zone. He was also a firefighter and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Kelsey plans to become a firefighter, choosing this field of study because she wants to help people who live in her community. Kelsey attends South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, Wash. and is majoring in technical and fire safety. Krystal’s life-long dream is to become a veterinarian. The Foundation’s scholarship will help her reach that goal. Krystal attends Centralia Community College in Centralia, Wash. and is majoring in veterinarian sciences.
