Town Hall on ATSSA online training solutions set for April 28
Hear from ATSSA and industry leaders about how to keep your team equipped
With social distancing in place and travel to training sites hindered, how can you keep your team equipped for their duties as essential workers in a critical industry?
ATSSA’s next Town Hall brings together industry leaders and ATSSA team members to discuss how The Association has pivoted to meet members’ training and certification needs in unprecedented times.
The Tuesday, April 28 session on “Innovations in Online Training to Keep Your Employees Engaged" includes a demonstration of virtual training and insights from ATSSA Master Instructor Eric Perry, who also serves as The Association’s director of innovation and technical services.
Perry and other panelists will discuss how virtual training bridges geographical barriers, allowing students in various locations to gather online and interact live with master instructors who are subject matter experts.
Tuesday's Town Hall starts at 2 p.m., runs for one hour and includes a question-and-answer period. Registration is now open and free for members.
The Town Hall will be introduced by Director of Member Engagement Pamala Bouchard and include the following panelists:
- Cindy Williams, President, Time Striping Inc.
- Dave Waldo, T2/LTAP Manager, Alaska Department of Transportation
- Eric Perry, ATSSA Master Instructor and Director of Innovation & Technical Services
- Jessica Scheyder, ATSSA Training Program Manager
This will be ATSSA’s second Town Hall. The first one addressed the government response to COVID-19 and the outlook for infrastructure funding. A recording of that session is available for viewing.
ATSSA Town Halls are free to members and were developed as a tool for sharing critical information. Each Town Hall runs for one hour and includes a question-and-answer period.
