Pam / Tuesday, February 18, 2020 / Categories: Advocacy, ATSSA, Infrastructure, Transportation ATSSA leadership attends presidential candidate forum on infrastructure ATSSA Board Chair Greg Driskell, pictured in center, Past Chair Juan Arvizu, left, and Government Relations Vice President Nathan Smith were in Las Vegas on Sunday, Feb. 16 for the “Moving America Forward” presidential candidate forum aimed at raising the profile of the nation’s infrastructure needs. Former Vice President Joe Biden, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, former South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg and businessman Tom Steyer, all candidates for the Democrat ticket, took part in the event, moderated by The Wall Street Journal and held on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. United for Infrastructure organized the program with groups that build, maintain, operate, and administer America’s infrastructure systems hosting it. The forum was live streamed on CSpan.org. Candidates have been in Nevada ahead of the Democrats’ caucus, which takes place on Saturday, Feb 22.
