ATSSA releases statement following President Trump’s State of the Union address

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (February 6, 2019) – The American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) issued a statement on President Donald Trump’s remarks in support of infrastructure investment during the Feb. 5 State of the Union address.

“ATSSA is pleased that President Trump’s remarks during the State of the Union address highlighted the importance of investing in our nation’s infrastructure. We look forward to working with Congress and the White House to craft and enact a safety-focused infrastructure package that includes roadway safety infrastructure and fixes the looming Highway Trust Fund fiscal cliff. Our mission is to move toward zero deaths and serious injuries on our nation’s roadways, and roadway safety infrastructure is a key component of making that a reality,” said ATSSA’s Vice President of Government Relations Nate Smith.
