Two years into the global pandemic, businesses face ongoing challenges and uncertainty brought on by COVID-19.

Supply chains are impacted. Workforce issues confront employers of all sizes. And vaccine mandates threaten to intrude on daily operations.

As mandates make their way through the courts, companies are in limbo as they seek to navigate the maze of rules and regulations across the country and at every level of government.

With that in mind, ATSSA assembled key documents and resources to assist members.

Deadline extended to July 9 for proposals to lead education sessions at ATSSA’s 2021 Convention

It’s not too late to submit your proposals to lead education sessions for the 51st Annual Convention & Traffic Expo scheduled for San Diego from Jan. 29 through Feb. 2. ATSSA has extended the deadline to July 9 to allow more time for industry experts to provide their insights and expertise during this annual event, which is confirmed for 2021.

Sessions that can be conducted virtually or pre-recorded are of particular interest as well as topics that address how you dealt with the challenges and opportunities presented by the pandemic.

UPDATE: ATSSA extended the deadline for submissions to July 9 at 11:59 p.m.

ATSSA seeks your proposals to lead educational sessions for the 51st Annual Convention & Traffic Expo scheduled for San Diego from Jan. 29 through Feb. 2. The event may have some new twists in 2021 due to the global pandemic but it’s still on and applications to present your industry insights and expertise are now available. Applications are now open for proposals and due by June 25.

“We are excited to see what topics and ideas the industry will bring forward with this Call for Proposals,” said ATSSA Training Program Manager Jessica Scheyder. “Sessions that can be conducted virtually or pre-recorded will be of particular interest, as well as sessions that address the obstacles and opportunities related to the current pandemic environment.”

 

ATSSA accelerates release of online course for pandemic response and prevention

Course released early is part of expanded online offerings scheduled for mid spring

In response to the global pandemic, ATSSA’s Training Department is accelerating release of one of its new online courses.

The Training Department had been slated to launch a new segment of online training addressing  human resources and workplace safety issues later this spring but out of heightened concerns for the health and safety of members amid COVID-19, Vice President of Member Services Donna Clark authorized early release of one course. The pandemic-related course is offered for free to members through April.
