Work Zone Resources
ATSSA's Roadway Worker Protection Council was created in 2021 after holding a forum on the issue during that year's Convention & Traffic Expo. The council established a two-fold mission—to better protect roadway workers and to prepare companies in case they're faced with a work zone tragedy. Read more in ATSSA's Fall 2022 supplement of Roadway Safety magazine, which focuses on Worker Protection.
Developed by the Roadway Worker Protection Council, the Worker Protection Toolkit provides members with checklists for steps to take in case of an injury or death and a training guide to help employers prepare their employees to safely RESPOND TO INCIDENTS in the field.
The toolkit currently includes six documents and is available for free digital download to members. ATSSA members must login to access and download each document.
Non-members may purchase the toolkit for $24.99 digital download. Access the shop here, login to purchase, then receive access to the six-document kit in your confirmation email.
ATSSA-developed documents on legal liability are great additional resources, especially for ATSSA contractor members. These legal resources are available at no charge to members and non-members.
American Traffic Safety Services Association represents the roadway safety infrastructure industry with effective legislative advocacy, traffic control safety training and a far-reaching member partnership.
