The ATSSA Legislative Briefing & Fly-In focuses on timely and pressing federal policy issues that have an impact on America’s roadway safety infrastructure policy at all levels. This is a unique opportunity for ATSSA members to interact with high-level policymakers, members of congress and congressional staff, and hear from department of transportation (DOT) officials.
In addition to making a difference at the Federal level, ATSSA also works to advance roadway safety through grassroots efforts. Working with local ATSSA chapters, the Association's State Government Relations staff is here to help you meet with state elected officials and have your voice heard.
The 2023 Legislative Briefing & Fly-In was held in-person on April 18 and 19 in Washington, D.C. at the Pendry Washington DC - The Wharf. The event included 63 registered ATSSA members from 21 states plus D.C. who accomplished more than 70 congressional meetings in 8 hours.
The 2023 Legislative briefing was held on April 18 at the Pendry Washington DC - The Wharf where more than 60 ATSSA member registrants heard directly from members of Congress and federal policymakers on the legislation and policies directly impacting our industry. An evening reception was also held to support the ATSSA PAC with members of Congress in attendance.
Capitol Hill Meeting Day was held on April 19 where ATSSA members met with their representatives and congressional staff on Capitol Hill to discuss the importance of roadway safety.
American Traffic Safety Services Association represents the roadway safety infrastructure industry with effective legislative advocacy, traffic control safety training and a far-reaching member partnership.
