Judges reviewed nine items from companies across the country as part of the New Products Rollout. The document opened for public comment on Dec. 14 as originally reported here and was originally to allow comments through March 15. The Notice of Proposed Amendments for the 11th edition of the MUTCD contains more than 600 proposed changes, according to a statement from the FHWA. Read more

The new deadline is Dec. 15. Products selected for participation will be judged by public officials and could be named one of the top three items and receive an Innovation Award. All members receiving an Innovation Award earn the coveted honor of presenting their product during the Circle of Innovation, an event attended by top industry officials, including public agency officials.
