This webinar, held on Nov. 8, 2022, intends to inform you of a very important and potential hidden crisis related to contracts. Over the last decade, many prime contractors have learned to transfer all or part of their liability onto to our members. This comes in the form of a contractual indemnity clause, often in a take-it-or-leave environment. Many members are either unaware or have been encouraged to take on this inappropriate responsibility. Inherent in this practice is a disincentive for the prime to ensure safety practices, knowing they can pass negligence to their traffic control subcontractors. The result has been a catastrophic impact on members claims, ensuring future skyrocketing insurance costs.

In this session, our panel of insurance, legal and safety experts will provide you with tools, techniques and ideas to help level the playing field with the prime contractors.
