The State Advocacy Toolkit, released in 2025, is designed to equip ATSSA members with the resources and strategies necessary to advocate for traffic safety improvements at the state level. The explanations and processes outlined in this toolkit will allow members to familiarize themselves with how to successfully engage with legislators, champion legislation and host state advocacy days. Within the toolkit, members can expect to learn the following:
